Terms of service
RoleCall is a free tool that watches opera company websites for audition postings and emails you the ones that match your voice type and regions. Using it means agreeing to the following.
The service
RoleCall is provided free of charge, on a best-effort basis. We don't guarantee uptime, that every audition posting will be found, or that you'll be notified of a match in time to apply. It's a tool to help your search, not a substitute for checking companies' own sites directly for anything time-sensitive.
Your account
You sign in with Google, one account per person. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure — anyone with access to it has access to your RoleCall account. Don't create accounts for anyone but yourself, and don't share your session or credentials with anyone else.
Acceptable use
- Don't scrape, automate against, or attempt to overload the service.
- Don't attempt to access another user's account or data.
- Don't resell, redistribute, or bulk-export the audition data RoleCall surfaces for a commercial product of your own.
We can suspend or terminate an account that does any of this.
Accuracy of audition information
Audition details are extracted automatically — partly by software, partly by an AI model reading each company's own page — from opera companies' public websites. We do not write, verify, or control this content, and extraction can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Always confirm dates, deadlines, eligibility, and application instructions directly with the company before relying on them. RoleCall is a discovery tool, not an authoritative source for any audition's details.
No warranty, limited liability
RoleCall is provided "as is," with no warranty of any kind. We're not liable for a missed audition, a decision made based on information from this site, or any other damages arising from your use of it, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Ending your use
You can stop using RoleCall and delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or terminate access for violating these terms, or discontinue the service entirely — we'll do our best to give notice if we ever do the latter.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll post the update here and, for significant changes, email active users ahead of it taking effect.
