Privacy policy

RoleCall exists to email you when an opera company you're watching posts an audition. That's the whole business. This page says exactly what we do with your data so you don't have to guess.

What we collect

Your name, email address, and profile photo, from signing in with Google.
The voice types and regions you select, and which companies you choose to monitor.
Your notification and monitoring-window preferences.
Basic delivery records for emails we send you (sent, bounced, or failed), so we can stop emailing an address that bounces.

We don't collect anything else — no payment details (the service is free), no location tracking, no device fingerprinting.

What we never do

We never sell or rent your data to anyone.
We never share it with a third party except Google (to sign you in) and Postmark (to deliver our emails) — both solely to provide the service.
We run no third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

Cookies

One cookie: a session identifier, so you stay signed in. It carries no tracking data, isn't readable by JavaScript, and isn't shared with anyone.

Audition data

Audition postings we extract from opera companies' own public websites aren't personal data — they're the companies' own published announcements, kept so we can detect when a listing changes or is taken down.

Deleting your account

Settings → Delete account removes your account and everything tied to it — voice types, regions, monitored companies, and notification history — immediately and completely. There's no recovery period because there's no reason to keep it around.
